Track with Identi.ca using Identispy

In this video, I talk about a new third party application called, Identispy.  This jabber bot allows you to track terms on the Twitter clone, Identi.ca.  If you watched my previous video on how I use Twitter, you may remember that I used the track feature a lot to filter information that comes from Twitter.  Identispy is very simply to use, simply add laconica@west.spy.net to your jabber user list.  Once you have done that,  send the message “help” to the jabber bot to get a list of commands.  The most common commands surrounding track are “track”, “tracks’, and “untrack”.  Once you start tracking terms, any time somone says the term, you will be notified.  Track is beautiful!  I hope Twitter brings it back soon because it brought so much value to the tool and now you can use it with Identi.ca!  Enjoy!
