South By Southwest (SXSW) and Social Media

In this video, I discuss the SXSW conference in the Austin, TX.  SXSW has evolved into this giant social media gathering for all the big names in blogging, podcasting, video, and new media.  I heard about Twitter in 2006 from SXSW and how it was so great.  Until then, I had no clue what it was.  The cool thing about SXSW is that you can follow a lot of the activity online through podcasts, twitter posts, videos, and live streaming.  For those of us who can’t afford a plane ticket and a hotel room, it’s great to experience the content!

    I just got back from my first SXSW, and I had a blast! I'm surprised i didn't see you up there. Maybe next year? I had the opportunity serve on a panel, and though it was nerve wrecking it was an experience I will never forget. I'm working on panel ideas for next year, maybe we can team up!?
