Q&A: How Do I Read Your Binary Clock?

In this video, I answer a question from @techhelper1 (http://twitter.com/techhelper1) who utilized the #bwanatvqa hashtag on Twitter.  He asks “@Bwana how do you tell time on the binary clock?”  Thanks for the question!  First view this graphic which will greatly aid in understanding how it works:  http://twitpic.com/26p8x .  Now, you just need to remember 1,2,4,8.  Remember those 4 digits as they are key to reading my binary clock.  Each digit of the time xx:yy:zz, is represented by a vertical column of lights which represent the numbers 1,2,4,8.  If the light is illuminated, then you count that number in addition.  It’s a matter of reading which lights are on, associating them with a number and adding them up.  The video demonstrates the current time.  Thanks for the question techhelper1!
