www.squarespace.com/?associateTag=bwana In this video I answer a question from hsushoe via twitter: “Why go with a PlayStation 3 and not a 360 (just wondering).” Thanks for the question, hsushoe. This is a highly opinionated topic, but I’ll do my best to role play. Here are some reasons why: 1. Home theater enthusiasts who want the highest quality sound and picture will opt for Blu-Ray’s great technology in the area. 2. If you do not wish to pay for online game play. 3. If you already like the PS2 games and own a PSP 4. If you prefer to use open storage and wireless standards (bluetooth), the the PS3 would be attractive. The PS3 also can serve as a basic linux machine (good for web surfing and open office) These are just some of the reasons why someone would choose a PS3 over a 360, but it is not the only reasons. These vary from person to person. For more information on this topic, please check out my article on Bwana.org on which console you should buy: http://www.bwana.org/2008/11/25/which-gaming-console-should-you-buy-this-holiday/ It provides a good methodology on which console you should buy based on various questions and priorities. As you enter the console war, please consider this and note that your wants and likes are not always in line with every one else. Take care!
