Apple’s Latest Stance On Jailbreaking

In this video, I discuss a controversal topic in the iPhone community: Jailbreaking. The short answer? It’s still up in the air.     I agree with some of Apple’s statements. I have un-jailbroken my iPod Touch due to some events that have happened to my iPod Touch from jailbraking. Those events help support some of Apple’s statements. I would caution anyone before they jailbrake their iPhone/iPod Touch.

    Apple themselves could probably halve the devices that are jailbroken, if they could provide/replicate just a few things:
    Basic theming – home screen wallpapers, keyboard skins(some great MacBook skins out there).

    Custom SMS & alert tones.

    SBSettings – an invaluable app.

    YouRtube.

    And Safari Download Manager – to name a few
