I share my thoughts on what I believe were some great exclusives for the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3 and which platform did better .. IN MY OPINION. This is not fact and I’m sure your opinion will differ. This is why I’m posing the question to you: What were your favorite exclusives for 2009 and why? The PSP go was announced at E3 and it was also announced the mini games would be available. This mini games would be similar to iPhone games and would be a direct competitor. Judging by what I’ve seen of the M.A.G. game so far, it’s seems to be living up to the promise of a great title. Not even considering the great feat of a 256 player online experience, but there seems to be great attention paid to details. I will be a part of the beta since I am a Qore subscriber. This firmware was released late August 31, 2009 to the masses and has received mixed reactions so far. It includes a revamped “What’s New” section, a brand new “tiled” interface, a new status area, a revamped friends list, and support for dynamic/animated themes. Most of the changes are visual and cosmetic, but I believe the new tiled interface should be spread throughout the entire interface. On the downside, I believe the friends list changes stick out like a sore thumb. They don’t match the look and feel of the rest of XMB. Overall, firmware 3.0 takes the Playstation 3 another step closer to the ultimate experience. There are some other obstacles to overcome, but they are certainly attainable. Congratulations Sony on a successful release.

It is available for $49.99 MSRP but was available for $59.99 with a SOCOM Confrontation bundle (not widely available anymore). The feature set of this headset is impressive. Number 1, it automatically pairs with your PS3 when connected via the USB cable. Number 2, it acts as a desktop microphone when docked in case. The audio quality is top notch. It definitely ranks up there with the more expensive bluetooth headsets today. The bluetooth headset is not very comfortable in my opinion but this may vary from user to user. Overall, I believe the Official PS3 Bluetooth Headset is a good investment to accompany your PS3

This all comes from a statement that Activision made that they were going to pull PS3 support. I was happy to see Bioware’s response that the whole thing is silly. I completely agree with their sentiment. Everyone is on the PS3 hate train lately and it’s really getting old. While I own all the consoles, I see the benefit of all of them and to single one out like this is just plain dumb. It makes no sense to me. What do you guys think?
